Choose your operating system and follow the instructions. You may want to adjust your in-app resolution using the gear icon, Display, Resolution and/or lower the quality using Graphics, Quality Level.

If you are seeing this message when using Google Chrome: "VRE X-ray.zip may be dangerous, so Chrome has blocked it", click on the arrow next to Discard and click on Keep.
Android
- Open the link below and download the file.
- Android 4.0 up to Android 7.0: Call up the Settings (gear symbol), open Security, and allow Unknown sources. Start the installation of the app by locating the VRE X-ray.apk file in your download folder, tap on it and choose Install.
- Android 8.0 or higher: Start the installation of the app by locating the VRE X-ray.apk file in your Download folder, tap on it and choose Install. You will be notified that "your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source". Tap on Settings in the same notification and activate Allow from this source. Open your Download folder and start the installation.

macOS (Intel CPUs)
- Open the link below and download the file.
- Use Finder to unzip the file (double-click).
- In Finder, control-click / right-click the VRE X-ray app icon, then choose Open from the shortcut menu. Click Open. The app is saved as an exception to your security settings, and you can open it in the future by double-clicking it just as you can open any registered app.

- Open the link below and download the file.
- In the Explorer, unzip (right-click, Extract All, Extract), switch to the VRE X-ray folder, open VRE X-ray.exe.
- If you see the message "Windows protected your PC", click "More info" and then "Run anyway".
